The Eastern Idaho Apartment Association (EIAA) in conjunction with the city of Idaho Falls participated in the Annual National Landlord Improve America Day today. The association was able to help 2 elderly people with serious yard cleanup projects.
Both people that were helped are in there 80’s one with cancer. Bart Weaver, the EIAA President reported “We were able cut down and haul off the waist high weeds in one yard and load a dumpster full of metal for recycling from the other yard. It was a fun project and gave everyone who participated a great feeling that comes from helping others.”

Just wanted to send a quick note to let EIAA know how grateful we are for the service they provided on October 17th. Both residents were grateful for the help and the work that was done for them on their properties. We appreciate the time you took to help the City with projects that have needed to be done for quite sometime.
It takes wonderful people to spend their time, especially on a Saturday morning in service of others. The City is grateful to know there are organizations that are willing to lend a hand.

Faye,
I wanted to express our appreciation to you and your fellow volunteers for all of your hard work last Saturday.
Lanny also wanted to express his gratitude for all that was done for him last weekend with the clean-up project. He has enough wood to keep him warm this winter thanks to the effort of all involved. Hopefully, he will be willing to allow us to help him clean up more this spring.
The need is always there for volunteers to help those who are not able to keep up with their property.
Again, I just wanted to say thank you and I look forward to working with you again.
